Additionally, we provide systems to maintain and extend the life of equipment used aboard ship in the Commercial Marine market, such as the ThermoJet® Oil Purifier and the LubriMist® Oil Mist system from Lubrication Systems Company (LSC), a Colfax Business Unit. The ThermoJet® Oil Purifier is an on-line oil purification system that removes free and dissolved water and light hydrocarbons from lubricants and hydraulic oils, returning the viscosity of lube oil and restoring the flash point of the oil to like-new levels.
The centralized lubrication system, LubriMist® Oil Mist, supplies a lean mixture of low-pressure, atomized lubricating oil to individual pieces of equipment, lengthening the MTBF (Mean Time Between Failure) and extending equipment life.
