John A. Young
President, Chief Executive Officer
John A. Young is the President, Chief Executive Officer and a Director of the Colfax Corporation. Prior becoming President in 2000, Mr. Young was Vice President, Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer of the Company since it’s founding in 1995. Prior to 1995, he was Director of Corporate Development at AMF Industries and with Chase Manhattan Bank in New York. Mr. Young is a graduate of the University of Virginia, with a BS from the McIntire School of Commerce and an MBA from the Darden School.


Mario E. DiDomenico
Senior Vice President, General Manager Engineered Products
Mario E. DiDomenico joined Colfax Corporation in 1998 with the acquisition of Imo Industries by Colfax. During that time he has served as the Manager of Operations Warren Pump, Vice President 2 Screw Pumps, and Senior Vice President & General Manager of Engineered Products. He has been with Imo Industries in increasing responsible manufacturing roles since 1990. Prior to Imo Industries, Mr. DiDomenico held several key management and operational positions with FKI, plc. as Vice President of Operations and Colt Industries for 5 years. Previous to that, Mr. DiDomenico spent 2 years with TRW as a manufacturing manager. He has a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Manhattan College in New York.


Michael K. Dwyer
Senior Vice President, General Manager Asia Pacific
Michael K. Dwyer joined Colfax in 1998 as Vice President, Colfax Business System and Global Sourcing. In 2004, Mr. Dwyer became Senior Vice President, General Manager Asia Pacific. From 1995 to 1998, he was President of Strategic Innovations International, Inc., a consulting firm specializing in world class manufacturing practices. Prior to that, Mr. Dwyer spent seven years with AMF Industries, three years with INA Bearing Company, and seven years with John Deere, all in positions of increasing responsibility in engineering and operations. He received a BSE in Industrial and Systems Engineering from the University of Michigan and an MBA from Lake Forest Graduate School of Management.


G. Scott Faison
Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer
G. Scott Faison became the Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer in January of 2005. He has served as Corporate Controller and Assistant Treasurer since joining Colfax in November 1997. Prior to that time, Mr. Faison was the Chief Financial Officer for Bullets Corporation of America from October 1996 to November 1997. From 1987 to 1996, Mr. Faison worked at AMF Industries in a number of senior management positions including Corporate Controller; Controller, AMF-UK; and Controller, Consumer Products Division. He has a BS in Accounting from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University.


Timothy C. Farley
Director, Colfax Business Systems
Timothy C. Farley joined Colfax Corporation in 2006 as the corporate Director of Colfax Business Systems. Mr. Farley has more than 18 years of progressively responsible experience leading global manufacturing operations and implementing lean manufacturing systems during growth, turnaround, and green field start-up periods. Prior to Colfax, his significant positions have included Managing Partner with EPS Partners, a private equity firm, Vice President of Global Manufacturing and Managing Director of Asian Operations for Xaloy, Inc. Mr. Farley received a BS in Industrial Engineering and Operations Research, and a Masters of Engineering Administration from Virginia Tech.


Frank Kirchner
Allweiler CFO
Mr. Frank Kirchner joined the Allweiler in May 2003 as Chief Fianancial Officer Europe. Prior to Colfax Corporation, Mr. Kirchner spent 14 years at Motorola in various business functions in Germany and U.K. His last position was as the Director Finance Europe in the communication division.


Dr. Michael Matros
General Manager, ALLWEILER AG, Radolfzell
Dr. Michael Matros joined Allweiler in 1996 after receiving his Phd. in Mechanical Engineering. He started as a project manager in Research & Development. In 2000 Dr. Matros became the Director Research & Development. One year later, he took over responsibility for Business Development of Allweiler Europe and became the manager of the Skids Business. From 2004 until 2006 Dr. Matros was the Plant Manager of Allweiler Radolfzell and since April 2006 he works in his current position.


Joseph B. Niemann
Senior Vice President, Marketing & Strategic Planning
Joseph B. Niemann joined Colfax Corporation in 2006 as the corporate Senior Vice President of Marketing & Strategic Planning. Prior to Colfax, Mr. Niemann was Vice President, Marketing & eBusiness of Emerson Climate Technologies, a subsidiary of Emerson Electric Company, where he was employed from 1990 to 2005. Mr. Niemann held several key Marketing positions with Emerson during his 15 years with the Company. Previous to Emerson Electric Company, Mr. Niemann spent several years with the Lincoln Electrical Company as a Technical Sales Representative. He received a BSEE from the University of Cincinnati and an MBA from Northwestern University.


Thomas M. O'Brien
Senior Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary
Thomas M. O'Brien has served as our Senior Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary since January 1998. Mr. O'Brien has been Assistant General Counsel at Imo since 1995. He has been a member of the legal department at Imo since 1985. Mr. O'Brien had previous experience at Hanson Industries Inc. and the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection. Mr. O’Brien has a BA from Southampton College, a MA from Rutgers University and a JD from St John’s University, School of Law.


Dr. Ernst Raphael
General Manager, Allweiler Progressing Cavity and Director, Sales EMEA
Dr. Ernst Raphael joined the Allweiler Business Unit of Colfax Corporation in May 2005 as the Sales Director Europe, Middle East and Africa. Before joining Colfax, he held managerial positions in development and sales in the transmission industry at Flender in Bocholt, Germany. In 1998 he became production manager of the hydraulic business unit of the combine harvester manufacturer Claas. In 2002 he moved to Thyssen Krupp where he had the position of a managing director. Since 2006 he is a member of Allweiler AG’s executive management where he is responsible for sales and the progressing cavity pump business unit. He has a degree in mechanical engineering from Ruhr University in Bochum, Germany where he also got the appointment to a PhD in 1989.


William E. Roller
Senior Vice President, General Manager Imo & Zenith Pumps
William E. Roller has served as our General Manager, Imo Pump since June 1999. In 2004 Mr. Roller increased his responsibility as the General Manager of Zenith Pump through an acquisition of that business. He joined Colfax Corporation from Precision Auto Care, Inc. where he was Senior Vice President of Manufacturing and Distribution for 2 years. From 1991 until 1997, Mr. Roller worked for AMF Industries in several increasingly responsible manufacturing roles. Previous to AMF, he spent 4 years with FMC Corporation is various manufacturing roles. Mr. Roller is a graduate of the Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University, with a BS in Chemical Engineering and an MBA from the University of Virginia Darden School.


Steven W. Weidenmuller
Senior Vice President, Human Resources
Steven W. Weidenmuller joined Colfax Corporation in 2002 as the corporate Senior Vice President of Human Resources. Prior to Colfax, Mr. Weidenmuller was Vice President of Human Resources of Tropicana International, a subsidiary of PepsiCo, Inc., the leading producer of juice in the world where he was employed from 1997 to 2002. Previous to Tropicana, Mr. Weidenmuller spent 9 years at US Airways, Inc. in increasingly responsible human resource roles. Further, he spent several years at First Virginia Bank, Inc. within the Trust Department. Mr. Weidenmuller received a BA in Finance from James Madison University.
