Portland Valve

Portland Valve, a Colfax Business Unit, is a prime contractor for the US Navy and a major subcontractor for all naval and private ship yards. Products include valves, actuators, components, sub-assemblies and fabrications, which are primarily installed on U.S. Navy ships. It also manufactures products for Army weapons systems and select commercial applications.

Portland Valve also serves markets that require close tolerance precision machining, welding and fabrication. With a full complement of state-of-the-art CNC machinery it can manufacture components up to 65 inches in diameter, using some of the toughest metals known to man.

The Portland Valve Quality System, welding and non-destructive testing are in accordance with military standards and NAVSEA technical publications.

Headquarters and manufacturing are located in a state-of-the-art, 45,000 square-foot facility in South Portland, Maine.
