Washing System
In spite of air filters, fine dust and oily coatings can deposit on the compressor blades. Gas turbines are sensitive to this build up. As dust and oil build up over time the mass flow rate and compression ratio reduces and shortly thereafter the gas turbine experiences noticeable losses in performance and efficiency.
With the ALLWEILER high-pressure centrifugal pumps series L / LV, operators can feed a washing agent through nozzles entering the compressors to remove this contamination and return performance to specified levels.
