Leadership Bios

Matthew L. Trerotola | President and Chief Executive Officer

Matt Trerotola is Chief Executive Officer and a Director of Colfax Corporation.  Prior to joining Colfax in July 2015, he was DuPont’s Executive Vice President and a member of the Office of the Chief Executive.  In this role, he was responsible for DuPont’s $6.3 billion Electronics & Communications and Safety & Protection segments, as well as having corporate responsibility for Asia-Pacific. 

Mr. Trerotola has spent most of his career in various roles at DuPont, Danaher, and McKinsey & Company.  Prior to joining DuPont, Mr. Trerotola held a number of leadership positions at Danaher Corporation, where he was most recently Vice President and Group Executive for Life Sciences from 2012 to 2013, and oversaw a group comprised of four companies, approximately 7,000 associates and $2.5 billion in revenue.  Previously at Danaher, he was Group Executive for Product Identification from 2009 to 2012, and President of the Videojet business from 2007 to 2009.  In these roles, he greatly accelerated organic growth and made acquisitions that both strengthened and redefined the group.

Throughout his career at DuPont, which started in 1989, Mr. Trerotola held a number of leadership positions at the Company. Many of his roles at DuPont involved applied innovation to improve margins and accelerate growth in global businesses.

While at McKinsey & Company from 1995 to 1999, Mr. Trerotola focused primarily on helping industrial companies accelerate growth. He worked in the Cleveland (Ohio), Brussels and Prague offices. 

Mr. Trerotola received a Bachelor of Science degree in chemical engineering from the University of Virginia in 1989 and an MBA degree from Harvard Business School in 1995.

Christopher Hix | Senior Vice President, Finance & Chief Financial Officer

Chris most recently served as the Chief Financial Officer of OM Group, Inc., a $1.5B, global, publicly-listed diversified industrial company.  He served within OM Group from 2012 until the company’s acquisition in late 2015.  Prior to this assignment, he was the Chief Financial Officer of Robbins & Myers, a $1.0B, global publicly-listed diversified industrial company from 2006-2011.  Prior to this, Mr. Hix spent 13 years in a variety of operating and financial roles of increasing responsibility within Roper Industries, a global industrial and technology company that underwent rapid growth and transitioned from private to public ownership during his tenure.

Ian Brander | Chief Executive Officer of Howden

Ian Brander has been the Chief Executive Officer of Howden since August 2011. Prior to becoming Chief Executive Officer of Howden, he served as Operations Director beginning in 2008. His experience includes over 20 years at Howden in various roles in technical, project, commercial and general management positions associated with a wide range of products. He holds a Mechanical Engineering degree from the University of Strathclyde.

Lynn Clark | Senior Vice President, Global Human Resources

Lynn Clark joined Colfax Corporation in 2013 as Senior Vice President, Global Human Resources. Prior to joining Colfax, she served as senior vice president, global human resources for Mead Johnson Nutrition. Her experience includes extensive work at the Board and operating levels, broad human resources leadership capabilities, talent management, organization design and development and M&A. Ms. Clark held roles of increasing responsibility at Bristol-Myers Squibb from 2001 to 2009, and was with Lucent Technologies and Allied Signal Corporation, leading executive development and then serving as human resources leader for headquarters functions between 1993 and 2001. Prior to transferring into human resources, she worked for 15 years in sales and marketing, most recently as a general manager for Drake Beam Morin – a global consulting firm in employee development, retention and transition. – in Richmond,Virginia. Ms. Clark started her career in career counseling at George Washington University in Washington, DC. Ms. Clark has a bachelor of science in education and a master of science in college student personnel from Bowling Green University in Ohio. 

Shyam Kambeyanda | Senior Vice President of Colfax Corporation and President of ESAB

Shyam most recently served as the President Americas for Eaton Corporation’s Hydraulics Group.  Prior to taking on this assignment is 2013, Mr. Kambeyanda served as Regional President of the Asia Pacific Region for the Hydraulics Group from 2010 to 2013.  Prior to these assignments, Mr. Kambeyanda spent several years serving as the Managing Director of India Operations at Eaton Corporation, where he oversaw all the company’s operations in the region and was responsible for developing growth strategies to build Eaton’s overall presence and success in India.  Mr. Kambeyanda joined Eaton in 1995 in the Automotive Group and has held a variety of positions of increasing responsibility in engineering, quality, e-commerce, product strategy, and operations management in the U.S., Mexico, Europe and Asia.  

Mr. Kambeyanda holds bachelor’s degrees in physics and general science from Coe College in Iowa and in electrical engineering from Iowa State University.  He also holds a master’s degree in business administration from Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.

Darryl L. Mayhorn | Senior Vice President of Colfax Corporation and President and CEO Colfax Fluid Handling

Darryl Mayhorn joined as Senior Vice President of Colfax Corporation and President and CEO Colfax Fluid Handling in July 2014. Prior to joining Colfax, Darryl was President of the Rexnord Aerospace Group and the Chief Human Resources Officer of Rexnord Corporation. His professional career includes leadership roles at various global industrial companies; including Danaher Corporation and Eaton Corporation. Darryl is an alumnus of the University of Missouri, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration. He has a Master’s degree in Business Administration from St. Louis University.

Daniel A. Pryor | Executive Vice President, Strategy & Business Development

Daniel A. Pryor is Executive Vice President, Strategy and Business Development for Colfax Corporation. Mr. Pryor served as Senior Vice President‚ Strategy and Business Development of Colfax from January 2011 through July 2013. Prior to Colfax‚ he was a Partner and Managing Director with The Carlyle Group‚ where he focused on industrial leveraged buyouts and led numerous portfolio company and follow-on acquisitions. Prior to Carlyle‚ he spent 11 years at Danaher Corporation in roles of increasing responsibility‚ most recently as Vice President – Strategic Development. Mr. Pryor earned his MBA from Harvard Business School and his BA in Economics from Williams College.

A. Lynne Puckett | Senior Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary

A. Lynne Puckett joined Colfax Corporation in 2010 as Senior Vice President‚ General Counsel and Secretary. Prior to Colfax‚ she was a Partner with the law firm of Hogan Lovells. Her experience includes a broad range of corporate and transactional matters‚ including mergers and acquisitions‚ venture capital financings‚ debt and equity offerings‚ and general corporate and securities law matters. Before entering the practice of law‚ Ms. Puckett worked for the U.S. Central Intelligence Agency and a major U.S. defense contractor. Ms. Puckett holds a J.D. from the University of Maryland School of Law and a B.S. degree from James Madison University.

Steve Wittig | Senior Vice President, Colfax Business System and Supply Chain Strategy

Steve Wittig became Senior Vice President of the Colfax Business System and Supply Chain Strategy in August of 2011. Prior to Colfax‚ he was Vice President of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma for the Masco Cabinet Group. Prior to that he held a number of operations positions with Lear Corporation‚ Preferred Technical Group‚ Sumitomo Electric and United Technologies. Steve received his Masters of Science degree in Engineering from the University of Michigan and his Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering from Kettering University (formerly General Motors Institute).
